Where are the cars now?

18 of the original 25 1FMs still exist today.  Of those that have been scrapped, some have donated parts to the restoration of other 1FMs.

1. Alive

   The lowest mileage of all the 1FMs.  Has appeared at many events in the UK and on the continent.

2. Dead

   Last heard of in 2005.

3. Alive

   Long-term owner and has had complete respray.  Fitted with a 16 valve engine from a 405 Mi16.

4. Alive

   One previous owner from new. In very good condition.  The last 1FM to be registered

5. Alive

   Number 5 was given away as part of an on-air competition in 1992.  It still exists and is in very good condition

6. Dead

   Believed to have been written off and scrapped in 1998.

7. Alive

   Subject to a major restoration in the late 2000's, and still used regularly

8. Dead

   Flattened by a truck and written off in 1996. It's identity lives on as a 'ringer' on another car

9. Alive

   One of the few 1FMs that was privately purchased. Long term owner and currently off the road.

10. Alive

    Neglected for many years, it was restored in the mid 2010's and now has a long term owner and makes regular appearances at events

    In very good original condition and owned for over 20 years

    Once thought to have been lost, this car resurfaced several years ago and is now undergoing a full rebuild by it's owner.

    Now living in France as part of an enthusiast's impressive 205 collection

    Modified in the 90's, it was restored in the early 2010's back to standard and is now owned by a Peugeot collector

    Has lived almost it's entire life in the Yorkshire area and having had much mechanical work carried out over the years, is regularly used

    After a long period under the radar, No.16 recently changed hands and the enthusiastic new owner is busy restoring it.

    Has been a regular at shows over the years and is in very good condition having had much money spent on it.

18. Dead

    Crashed and written off in 1998.  Nothing now remains of this car

    Long term owner, regularly seen at meets and events.

    Languished in a garage in a partly-stripped state for almost 20 years.  Rebuild now underway.

    Written off in 2005, many parts were used to restore other 1FMs.

    Broken up for spares and scrapped in 2005.  Some parts used to restore other 1FMs

    Stolen in 1998, no trace since.

    Laid up for over 20 years in very poor state of repair.

    After being off the radar for many years and in quite poor condition, this car changed hands recently and has now been restored to a fantastic standard
