Only 25 of these models were made to commemorate BBC Radio 1FM’s 25th Birthday in 1992, making the 205 1FM one of the rarest 205 variants.
Each car was individually numbered and boasted a range of additional 1FM features on top of an already high specification.
For some time the whereabouts of the cars were not known and it was thought many had not survived. Over the last ten years, helped by an active register, the 1FM cars have surfaced again and have passed into the hands of Peugeot enthusiasts who have restored or are restoring the cars to their original condition.
